Yoga in Thailand

Yoga Classes
Yoga classes at the retreat are a blend of familiar positions (asana), and also more difficult postures, with changes and varieties given to learner. The breath is constantly emphasized on, which conveys attention to the mind and body at the same time. The outcome is that the body gets to be stimulated, the brain gets to be focused, and there is an increase in awareness. The major aim is increasing vitality and also promoting a sense of healthiness at the same time.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga classes 4-5.30pm daily
A gentler, more remedial type of yoga, Hatha Yoga intends to get both sides of the human body into balance. Interpreted from the Indian Sanskrit "Ha" means sun and "tha" has moon as it meaning moon this alludes to the balance of male/female, positive/negative, day/night, Yin and Yang. Hatha Yoga works through the mastering of body postures (Asana's) and techniques of breathing (Pranayama,) it encourages dynamic wellbeing and uses the body's vitality chakras. Constant practice increases the longing to practice and builds up love within. Yoga gives the professional a device to work with in everyday life.

Do I Have to Be Vegetarian to Practice Yoga?

The primary guideline of yoga reasoning is ahimsa, which implies not hurting oneself as well as other people. A few individuals translate this to incorporate not eating animal-related foods. There is a dispute about this in the yoga group, I feel that it is an individual choice that everybody needs to decide on for themselves. On the off chance that you are thinking about turning into a vegan, make sure to consider your own wellbeing issues and also how your decisions will influence those who live with you. Adopting a vegan diet ought not to be a practice that you force on others—that sort of forceful behavior in itself is not a declaration of ahimsa.

What’s Hatha?

The meaning of the word hatha is willful or forceful. Hatha yoga is that set of physical exercises also known as asanas or body positions, and series of asanas are meant to support your skin, bones and muscles. The postures are also fashioned to open up several paths into the body, most importantly, the spine, so as to allow for the free flow of energy.

Another translation of Hatha is ha, which means “sun” and tha means “moon.”  Going by the translation, Hatha yoga simply refers to the balance relating to the male gender (active, hot, sun) and that of the female gender (receptive, cool, moon). Hatha yoga is a way of establishing balance and causing unity between opposites. In our physical bodies, we build up a balance between vigor and flexibility and as well learn how to balance our endeavors and admit defeat in every pose. Hatha yoga is a great means for self-development. It helps bring to our notice the way we breathe, which assists us to pause and notice the infrequent movement of the mind and makes us more active in unfolding each moment.
