If you won’t get any other
thing for participating in Yoga, You will at least gain enough flexibility. You
might be surprised in your first class how many others can touch their toes and
you are unable to. Don’t be alarmed because most of them could not even bend as
much as you can during their first Yoga experience. Gradually, you too will get
there.
Even the aches and pains you feel at the beginning will soon disappear.
It is normal for tight hips to have the knee joint strained as a result of poor
alignment of the shinbones and thigh. The lumber spine too can get flattened
and result in back pain. When you lack flexibility in connective tissues and
muscles, a poor posture is evident.
